Pokemon GO Community Day
Niantic - Pokemon GO will be holding Pokemon GO Community Days monthly. As we look forward into the year we plan on holding events during the Pokemon GO Community day. We are also looking to have community projects during our events that will help our community. March 25, 2018 is the next Pokemon GO Community Day and we plan to have a great event. W are planning a food drive to assist a local church in our area with their food pantry. While we raise food for the church we also plan to play Pokemon both the trading card game, video games, and Pokemon GO. The featured Pokemon for this event is Bulbasaur. There will be several bonuses during the event. The bonuses are 3X XP for catches and, as usual, 3-hour Lures. No word yet on the exclusive move. There will be shiny Bulbasaur as well, so be on the look out.
General event tips and tricks
Get to your favorite local catching spots early.
Be patient – there will be errors and bugs on the start of the event, don’t worry.
Ensure that you have Lures up the entire duration (Lures will last for three hours.)
Catch everything you see! The more you catch, the faster you will gain XP!
Use Incense to attract even more Pokémon to you while you’re out hunting.
Make sure that you keep your Lucky Eggs active the entire duration to maximize your XP!
Chat with your fellow Trainers and grow your local Pokémon Go community.
Promote the new Pokémon Go features and events to Trainers who are just starting their adventure or haven’t been playing for a while.
Most importantly, have fun!
